Dr. SL Mishra of Hazaribagh Dhanvantari Ayurveda told Local 18 that jackfruit is sold in abundance in the market during the summer season, which people like to eat with great gusto. Jackfruit vegetables, pickles etc. are prepared and eaten. But, if you are suffering from certain diseases then you should not eat jackfruit even by mistake, it may lead to complications.
These people should not eat jackfruit
Dr. SL Mishra told Local 18 that huge amounts of fiber, zinc, sodium, potassium, calcium, iron etc. are found in jackfruit. There are many benefits of consuming it, but people suffering from constipation should not consume it. It contains high amount of sugar, due to which diabetic patients should also stay away from it. The amount of fiber in it is very high, due to which many people may have problems like indigestion.
Pregnant women should also avoid
Dr. SL Mishra told Local 18 that the problem of gout has been seen many times due to jackfruit consumption. Due to this, problems like headache and migraine are seen. In such a situation, those who have gas problems should not consume jackfruit at all. Fellow pregnant women should not consume jackfruit.
